This little hummer is resting in our tree just after finishing up her/his dinner.
The family of three are getting ready for their trip to South America.
I feel the mother and father are the same every year as they know I have their
feeders set up and ready for them in the spring. Always giving us plenty of
entertainment. So small, yet good things always seem to come in small packages.
God did good!
It just boggles my mind that such a tiny bird can conquer wind and weather and fly hundreds and hundreds of miles. Most of us humans don't even walk ten miles a day and a hundred miles would have us saying "no way, Jose."
