I did this painting a few years back but seems appropriate in these winter months to add it to my endeavors as an artist. It is one of my favorites and it does grace the wall of my living room.
These paintings have been hidden for the past few years due to space. So I thought it might be nice, good or bad, to share them in my blog.
The first two are:
Jessie: - this is for my grandaughter taken from a card I received and decided it looked like her.
The Old Mill - This is an oldmill in Pigeon Forge, Tennesse from a photo I took riding in our car and I decided to put the railing of the bridge in it too.
I was going through some old floppy disks and came across some paintings in acrylic and oil I have done and would like to share them on my blog. Very first I did in 1992 of a tree with two ceramic pots laying by a tree in our front yard.
Second is an acrylic I did around 1997 of a still life. My decor for the house was southwestern at the time.
I was going over some of my endeavors as a beginning artists a few years back and found a few works of mine.
One is painting on silk. I did several of them, giving them away to friends as well as a couple for a window treatment. Shown is one I did for a pillow.
The other is a water color painting I did of a magnolia flower.
