Snow On The Mountain

I did this painting a few years back but seems appropriate in these winter months to add it to my endeavors as an artist. It is one of my favorites and it does grace the wall of my living room.

One More

These are paintings done at home in Alabama while my cat Miss Kitty

was sitting on the hot tub. Done in acrylics

Naturally it is called "Miss K"

More Early years Paintings

These paintings have been hidden for the past few years due to space. So I thought it might be nice, good or bad, to share them in my blog.

The first two are:

Jessie: - this is for my grandaughter taken from a card I received and decided it looked like her.

The Old Mill - This is an oldmill in Pigeon Forge, Tennesse from a photo I took riding in our car and I decided to put the railing of the bridge in it too.

Water Color Painting

This I call End of Day! Reminds me of the Amish People finishing up their chores of the day, ready for their dinner.
It is done in water color and colored pencils.

This is a water color I did around 1997 also in an art class at a Senior center.

Paintings

I was going through some old floppy disks and came across some paintings in acrylic and oil I have done and would like to share them on my blog. Very first I did in 1992 of a tree with two ceramic pots laying by a tree in our front yard.

Second is an acrylic I did around 1997 of a still life. My decor for the house was southwestern at the time.

Painting on Silk

I was going over some of my endeavors as a beginning artists a few years back and found a few works of mine.

One is painting on silk. I did several of them, giving them away to friends as well as a couple for a window treatment. Shown is one I did for a pillow.
The other is a water color painting I did of a magnolia flower.
