When Is it Spring?

Now wait a minute.  These Cherrytrees are blooming already and it isn't the first day of Spring, is it?
The long awaited spring is here in Tennessee.  However in the late 1980's on Easter, we had a foot or more of snow.  My walnut tree which lets me know that winter is over by starting to bud out is doing just that.  It has been in the 80's already and I don't know whether to pack up my winter clothes and bring out the summer clothes just yet.  So I have started to wear, on these warmer days, the bottom half of me in winter clothes and the upper half in summer.  I am not taking any chances.

I hope you will have a smile on your face as you see this picture of Katie in the arms of the Cherry Tree blossoms.  She could care less really.  So,Happy Spring time everyone, I guess.

I Wanna Go Too

I had to share this picture on my blog.  When we are leaving to go shopping or to the doctor's office, or just to run about in the car, this is Katie.  I know most of you have seen her before on my blog but this picture says it all.  "I wanna go too" is just the right expression on her, don't you think?  Most of the time this does work and we eventually end up taking her with us.

Christmas 2011

Back from our Christmas in Florida to visit daughter.  While there my daughter from D.C. came and gave me this ornament.  She knows I love anything to do with Boston Terriers.  Besides, she gave me get a Boston Terrier Tshirt and Boston Terrier Slippers, this ornament was so cute. However being sent via mail it got broken a bit.

 Ironically I have a real Boston Terrier with a cigar in his mouth photo taken last summer.  Just had to share this on my blog. DH cut a cigar and inserted it into the ornament and saved the day. It now stands with my collection.   Too cute not to share.   HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU BLOGGERS! and FRIENDS!

Not Caesar's Way!

I have read Caesar's Way to train dogs. Never start feeding them from table scrapes. Well, I didn't listen and now my little, darling Katie is spoiled. My dear husband just shakes his head about it and Katie knows not to go to him for any leftovers from his plate!

I must tell you that my dear husband makes breakfast every morning for us. Usually we eat by the TV watching the news. But lately the news just gives us indigestion so we moved ourselves into the breakfast room which has a lovely big window to watch the birds at the feeders outside. Much better for the digestion I think. But now, we caught this shot of our Katie getting ready for us to eat breakfast. No we do not feed her from the table directly, although sometimes I think she is human enough to. Now tell me, could you resist this little face?
