Cemetery Photos

It is ironic maybe, that so many people secretly are intrigued by cemeteries. In Swap-bot, a swapping of different themes of things, I noticed a few swaps geared to sending photos of gravesites. Some are just your regular tombstones while others are of wonderful art.

While visiting in Vermont, it was suggested that I visited the HOPE Cemetery in Barre. It was lovely to see all these marvelous tributes. I was told that there were Italian stonecarvers that were immigrants trying to make a living here and since there were many stone quarries in the vicinity, easily accessible, a new form of art was created - I have taken pictures of a few and would like for you to see them. It amazes me.
